Hello and welcome! This is an independent, selective, canon-divergent rp blog for a modern jim moriarty & various ocs. Although this interpretation has its roots in the world of bbc sherlock, it has assimilated other influences over the years including the original acd works, rdj films, hound of the d’urbervilles and personal headcanons.
I’m Gold, I'm 24-years-old, she/her pronouns, living in the est. I’ve been rping on and off tumblr for 8+ years and I have been writing moriarty since 2013. the rules .
1) Be Respectful: No godmodding, no force-shipping, no hate to me or my followers, etc. We are not obligated to do this. We do this for fun, so please at least be civil so we can all have a good time!
2) Interaction: I’m pretty much up for anything. I am open to rping with OCs, multiples of canon characters and characters that share my faceclaim. I am also multi-ship/verse & non-exclusive.
I prefer plotting but am a big fan of starting with memes for inspiration. Even if we’re not mutuals you are welcome to reply to open starters or send in memes.
Formatting: I use light formatting on all of my posts, mostly consisting of small text and bold/italics. I especially use this formatting in Jim’s dialogue to try and get his unique tone across. I write single para or longer replies and use icons here and there.
Relationships: As most do, I ship chemistry. So let’s talk about it! I’m always looking for more friends, enemies and otherwise for my muses.
3) NSFW & Triggering Content: I’m open to writing NSFW and darker themed threads with some limits. I generally prefer fade to black for scenes of a sexual nature and I will NOT write anything non-consensual.
As far as dark themes go I personally don’t have any triggers except for excessive visual gore (like gifs and images) and specifically body horror stuff is a big nope.
If you have a special tag or trigger, please let me know so I can tag my posts accordingly [ tw: _____ ]. I will also put NSFW threads under a read more on my end, to keep the dash a clean & safe place for those who need it that way.
4) Activity: Sometimes I reply in minutes, sometimes a week or more. It all depends on life and how busy I am. If I have something going on that prevents me from replying within a reasonable amount of time I will make an announcement. If you are worried I didn’t get your notification, just ask.
